I am very pleased to advise that RNAC Flight Operations have resumed – this includes flight training as well as private hire.
Significant research, including legal advice, NSW Health, CASA, AOPA , Central Coast Aero Club as well as the introduction of a Management Plan have increased our confidence that we can clearly operate within the guidelines and laws established by the authorities and provide the highest level of safety for our staff and members. However, we must continue to exercise a high level of caution and diligence to keep our operations safe.
You are also encouraged to download the COVID19 app, to purchase your own headset, and if preferred, feel free to bring your own mask should you wish to wear a mask in the cockpit.
We will resume ‘normal’ operations from Wednesday to Sunday, so please either log onto Schlott or call the office to make a booking.
Prior to coming into the office a Corona Virus Health Check Questionnaire needs to be completed. If the results of your health self-assessment raises questions about your exposure, please consider cancelling your flight until the apparent risk is minimised. We have Standard Pilot Practices in place. Sanitising your hands as you enter the building and wiping down aircraft cockpits after each flight is a priority.
